Spring Steel:

Composition: 0.65-0.75% Carbon, 0.5-0.9% Manganese, 0.15-0.3% Silicon, <0.025% Phosphorus, <0.025% Sulphur, Balance of Iron

Spring steel typically has higher Manganese and 3-10x more carbon than mild steel.
