PPD manufactures precision etched and laser-cut metal components for professional modelmakers, architectural practices and individual hobbyists in the UK and worldwide.

Chemical etching is particularly well suited to modelmaking because very fine, lightweight components can be produced with intricate openings, surface detail and scale features that would be difficult to manufacture using conventional cutting methods.

Laser cutting and our Chemical Etch + Laser process extend this capability to thicker materials and components requiring more substantial profiles, allowing us to support everything from individual detail parts through to complete model kits.
