File Format Guide

We accept artwork created in industry-standard 2D vector and CAD software, including CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator and AutoCAD.

Where possible, please send files in their native format. We can also accept a range of common vector and CAD file types, listed below.

Preferred native file formats:
CorelDRAW (.cdr), Adobe Illustrator (.ai) and AutoCAD (.dwg).

Drawing Scale

All artwork should be supplied at 1:1 scale. Please include a 100 mm scale bar so we can check for any scaling or translation errors during import.

Other File Formats

If you use other CAD or vector software, please send files in the formats below where possible:

• TurboCAD: DWG, TCW and a PDF generated from TurboCAD
• DraftSight 2D CAD: DWG using Hatch & Solid fills only
• Fusion 360: DWG
• Rhino: DWG plus AI or EPS
• MicroStation: DGN
• Other vector software: EPS, DXF or vector PDF

If sending a PDF, please ensure it is generated from a vector graphics programme.

When sending a file for import, please also include a screenshot or PDF so we can check for any translation errors.
