One PPD customer has recently transformed a kitchen utensil, the very talented RMDLO have invented a collapsing colander that takes up a fraction of space in kitchens.
RMDLO have used PPD etched parts in conjunction with other materials to create an alternative to the traditional 'bulky' colander, it's innovative design means that it can be stored easily in a drawer or hanging from a utensil hook.
The low tooling costs of the etching process allowed RMDLO to create several prototypes at a fraction of the cost of traditional tooling methods. The images below show how the RMDLO(Armadillo) is created, starting with our etched stainless steel sheet.
