UNBUILT HELSINKI at the Museum of Finnish Architecture. (Brass Model By Carmen Lee)
PPD Ltd. supplied etched brass to Dutch designer and project manager Willem Heeffer for a exhibit depicting the unbuilt city of Helsinki and it's inhabitants, entitled 'Linnanmaki Roadio Antenna & Observation Tower' brass model (By Carmen Lee).
We are delighted to have permission to show the entire process from the phototool produced by PPD throught to the final exhibit, a process that starts with a simple black and white drawing slowly transforms into an impressive exhibit in the Museum of Finnish Architecture.
The images below show the black and white phototool created from a vector drawing, the brass sheet midway through the etching process and an image showing one of the finished etched sheets.
